A colourful Mallard Drake.

Day 24 of 100 days of doodles.

The scale and perspective on this one didn't quite work, it's hard to get it right sometimes when it's just a quick 15 minute sketch. The head is a bit too small  and his eyes seem to have disappeared but never mind. The level of detail achieved with chunky nib pens and an A5 sheet of paper will never rival my tiny paintbrushes and watercolours, which i'm finally starting to accept!
